Chocolate cravings

I love chocolate, absolutely love and adore chocolate. Ok, so there are other things I like too, but for the purpose of this post, it's chocolate :-)

Wal-mart last night proved to be a major hurdle with all of the Easter candy and my absolute favorites - cadbury cream eggs..... yummmmmm. I'm a big believer if you don't satisfy a craving it just gets worse and worse until you go nuts and eat 3 times more than you would have if you just had a little in the beginning. So I got a cream egg...

It was really good, don't get me wrong, but I'm sure I could have gotten rid of my sweet tooth just as well with a piece of gum for 0 calories. I tried to tell myself it was okay since I didn't take any seconds of my mom's really good dinner, but whatever! lol At least I got that cream egg out of my system now!

Still truckin' away!

Another 2.5 lbs down since last Sunday!!!! Woo-hoo!

Best part is, while I ate well this week, I still let myself have a couple of little cheats. I also got an exercise ball that came with a book & DVD with extra exercises on how to use it. I'm really excited, because I feel like I don't use the right muscles when I do crunches, so hopefully this will help, and I can learn some new ones once I learn more weight and need to tone more.

Just have to keep truckin'! lol

Good news + bad news

The good news is that I lost 2 more pounds! woo-hoo!!!!!

Bad news? I was doing really good last night at game night at my friends house..... but then I couldn't resist anymore and gave into a piece of homemade Black Forest cake. OMG was it good! 30 mins on the gazelle definitely deserved today!

Me - 1, Pizza - 0

A lady was leaving our office today after working there for 4 years, so everyone chipped in to have a pizza lunch, cake, soda, the whole 9 yards.

Well, in a major milestone for Team Stephanie - I brought my lunch and didn't have any pizza, cake or soda!

Seriously, it sounds small, but for me to not even have one piece and tell myself that "it's okay" because it was only one piece, not a whole lunch - that's pretty major. I'm hoping I do as well tomorrow, when I'm getting together with some friends for a game night.

weird "workout"

Last night, I tried to do 30 minutes on our Gazelle, but about half way through my legs and feet got all tingly and numb. I stepped off and tried everything to get rid of it, but it took about 30 minutes for it to go away. It was just the worst feeling. Rett thinks that I might have temporarily pinched a nerve in my back which made my legs feel numb. I was trying to lean back and not hold on, like they tell you on Biggest Loser, so that might have been my problem.

Tonight Rett's off work, so we're going to play old people and go mall walking, lol. We figure it's better than walking in the rain, and we'll have things to look at, so we're going to give it a shot. I just hope that as I lose weight (slowly but surely!) I don't have my legs feel numb every time I try to work out....
